Founders Ranch is home to END of TRAIL, the Single Action Shooting Society’s World Championship of Cowboy Action Shooting™ & Wild West Festival attracting tens of thousands of participants and spectators from around the world. It hosts the SASS New Mexico Cowboy Action Shooing State Championship in April and The SASS Four Corners Regional Championship of Cowboy Action Shooting™ in August. The Founders Ranch shooting facilities are among the best in the world. 17 shooting bays are nestled into the hillside backed by a Western Town and all the amenities required to produce large shooting events. Founders Ranch also maintains a large and modern collection AR 500 steel targets both fixed and reactionary. A variety of mobile building and props make the shooting range versatile and interesting for any type of shooting discipline.

Founders Ranch is also home to two shooting clubs. The Buffalo Range Riders Action Shooting Club shoot on the first Sunday of every month and membership is open to any interested parties.

SASS Mounted Shooting is also represented in the Buffalo Range Riders Mounted Shooting Club who also shoot on the first Sunday of every month. The club puts on new shooter clinics on a regular basis and membership is open to all interested horse owners.
